Note

Watched Luke make the met west team at regionals today. He managed to run 31.51mins for 6km and still qualify to go to states, winning time was 19.43mins. WTF?? I can jog faster than that.

righto, mum saw the doc at work today and asked him what he did to my knee. Apparently had a long fibrous band across the front of my knee cap which he removed. This sounds like the problem. Also said cartilage was a bit soft, but looks like i'm good for JWOC

Had the knee op today. Not sure what they;ve done yet cause the doc had gone and a 1 yr old kid could write neater than he does. Apparently somethings been removed, not sure whether its the cyst or something else.

Long distance at Mt Pearson. Knee was feeling better this morning so ran down in juniors. Besides the first bingo control navigation was good. Cruised round course comfortably, except for downhills cause of me knee.

Lake Manchester to Mt Nebo via light line rd. Was feeling crap to start off and wanted to cry after about 7km. Managed to man up and make it the whole way up. Found a cafe up the top but they were shut so lunch consisted of 2 gels and a muesli bar. Descent was pretty awesome. There was a good 3km-4km section of pure down hill. Wrecked now.

Ride out at Lake Manchester. Started later than intended so was racing daylight for most of it. Entered at the kholo rd track and slogged it about 9km to Mt Nebo. Havent ridden this section before but theres a shitload of climb. Reckon i can make it the whole way up, its only another 8km of climbing to the summit.
