Pulled a 9am to 6pm shift at work then managed to cram this short run in before it got too dark. Was running pretty well but was really hungry. Strong up the hills and stuff. Will have to measure that distance though

Wasnt in the mood for this run at the start and was slow to begin with. Was 18secs down at griffith road on my time from the other day so picked up the pace. Some how managed to gain those 18secs back and put another 20secs into it. WTF?? want to break 17mins for the run next time.

Did first half of my long run circuit. Did the same time as yesterday for the 4km which is good. Was feeling stronger up the hills today. Met up with molly after the first 4km and dropped him up denmark hill. Cruised the rest pretty easily. Chest infection still lingering a bit.

Went to cascades and did the M21E course from the Aus middle champs in 2004. Put out tapes for everyone so was a bit slow cause i had to check they were in the right spot. Spiked all but 1 control . Had massive coughing fit just after i left and couldn't run as strong as the last couple of days.

Did a sprint type course which had tricky legs which required you to use the compass. Raced kieran(he went in reverse), he beat me by about 2mins. Stuffed up 2nd control cause i couldn't see the tape, compass work really good.

Did the same course as yesterday but in reverse cause the laurina and co. had turned up. Tried to practice fine navigation into the control site and spiked everything. Could swear it was longer than 3.7

Went up to warwick early with bridgey and kieran. Did an exercise from junior camp at sandy creek. Navigation was a bit scrappy cause i haven't done it for ages but speed through terrain/ bush fitness was awesome. Time is slow cause swapped with kieran with putting out tapes at control sites Have a chest infection thingy.

Bridgey made a beer o course which i raced her and kieran on. Was absolutely farked off my nut and had no idea wat i was doing. Had a fair bit of scotch through the drinks controls.

Farking shit way to end the series. Running was fine can't complain there, i was smashing them hills in half. The problem was route choice as i chose a really bad route which ended my chances of winning. Not happy cause i got beaten by two randoms and was about 8th. 5km cyclones time trial at UQ track. Thought it'd be worse then it was especially after running yesterday. Led for the first km with kieran then he pulled away with ian. Pretty much went into cruise mood and ran with simon the whole way but he burnt me in the last 200m. Reckon i could do under 20 easily. Happy enough with time.

Clives training at Gap Ck. Did the 11km loop with gary, started off with kieran and ian but they werent feeling too good. Chest bit tight from cold but not too bad. Lacking a bit of hill speed in the first part but did the last 5km pretty well. Did a hill sprint and some sit ups afterwards. Dont think the climb i got is right.

Last mid week event for the year. Was a 60min score/scatter thing. Was really sore from last night so was just cruising but at a decent pace. But there was a control in someones yard (WTF??!) which confused me and one of the controls was in the wrong spot which i couldn't find after looking for it for about 10mins. Coulda probably got another 2-3 controls but couldnt be stuffed.

Dont think this is really worth logging but rode from the train station to the event.

Street O at Seven Hills. Started out alright and was leading lorenzo for the first 2.5km. After that we entered a bush section and i was running all over the place and lost a fair bit on him there. Could still see him for ages but then took a stupid route choice and lost more ground on him. Got me by about 1.30min. Felt really awesome today. Made sure my running posture was correct which i think helped. Couldn't believe how comfortable i was through it. Took the first 9km to warm up a bit though but was running between 4.30 - 4.45min/km. Needed a energy gel or sumthing after about 16km cause legs were dead by then. Ran home hard in the last 2km.
