Sprint sessions at UQ. Didn't feel to good tonight, think i was a bit stuffed from yesterday. Did 6X 900m but times were slow but it was wet/light rain so there wasn't any traction on the road. Times were 3.15, 3.14, 3.18, 3.22, 3.30, 3.16.

Run warm up/down 20 [1] 2.5 km (8 / km)

Ran to UQ and back afterwards from Guyatt park with Kieran and Laurina.

Clive's Training at Gap Ck. Did some form of rob the nest which i am not gonna explain but it was basically intervals through the bush with varying lengths of time running.

Orienteering race (State Event Flagstone Ck) 1:17:50 [5] *** 11.3 km (6:53 / km) +240m 6:14 / km

State Event at Flagstone. Had an awesome run with only 1 minor error. Running was way better than last week, ran strong throughout the entire race. The two long legs were a bit of an effort though. 7-8 1.8km, 9-10 2.175km. So wish I was running like this last week.

Easy run cause i wasn't in the mood for anything hard. Started off with the 4km cross country course and did the 1km loop in the middle of it 3 times. Then continued doing laps on the grass track. Did 10 of those. Weather is getting shithouse cause it was dark when i finished at 6pm and it was 28 degrees. Also gotta remeasure that course cause time doesn't seem right.

Mid week event. Still not to good with running yet, able to stride out today though just no energy. Reckon course could be done in low 30s.

NOL/QLD Champs Day 2. Was hoping I'd feel better than yesterday but quickly died by about control 4 and went from a reasonable running pace to a slow jog. Navigation again was fine lost about 1.30min max but pretty much running let me down most likely from the viral thing i've had the last two weeks.

NOL/QLD Champs Day 1. Navigation was excellent only minor errors at 3 control, probably lost 3mins max. However, started off pretty strongly but by about halfway started to die and had nothing left at the end. Lost all my time because of that.

4km Cross Country course at Limestone Park. Pushed it harder through the first section and managed to keep my pace consistent throughout the whole run. Feeling alright, throat is still a bit stuffed from the I had. Should be right for the weekend.

Collecting controls for todays event. Went and collected controls in steep section. Ran most of it except where the grass got too long so i couldn't run. Felt alright.

Put out controls for event tomorrow. Got bitten by spider and arm felt weird and stung heaps, not sure what type it was. Cold is sorta gone, nose still a bit blocked and still have a chesty cough. Feel alright though.

Getting close to recovered now. Not gonna do anything to intense to soon. Gotta help put out controls this weekend at Brightview and help run the event. Looks like i should be recovered by next weekend.

Woke up this morning around 6.30 and felt rotten so decided not to do 3hr cyclegaine. Slept till twelve then got about a mouthful of breakfast down before hurling some blood up and passing out in the bathroom. So thats my week stuffed now. Feeling bit better now as its 7.30pm, managed to eat some dinner. Hopefully be right for NOL in 2 weeks.

Sprint Sessions at Uni. Was going to attempt 10x 500m with about 2mins recovery but wasn't up too it, so did 5x 100m which were pretty easy. Pretty lazy session in the end.

Did a run up the hills round Denmark Hill. Felt pretty good running up them. Was originally intending to only do 5.7km but on the last hill some deadshits decided they would chase me and they had a car as well. They were running to it at the time so I legged it to the main drag and ran an extra kilometre home.
