Course at Hardings Paddock. Ankle felt alright but still pulled out at 40mins. Had to collect controls after which i ran, ankle/achilles felt alright running but is sore now.

Note

Physio again today. Apparently should be seeing some signs of improvement with this tendinopathy by now but havent really. Physio is starting to suspect I have a posterior ankle impingement which is causing the tendinopathy. Related back to not having rehab when I busted the ankle back in February. If its not good after Europe will have to get MRI.

Note

Trying some sports medicine stuff for my achilles tendinopathy as suggested by Dr Lorenzo. Putting GTN (glyceral trinitrate) patches on my achilles. Normally used by people with angina or other heart problems. They're suppose to promote blood flow by widening the blood vessels, so the theory with the achilles is more blood flow more healing. Potential side effects are headaches and passing out.... Neither have happened yet.

Riverloop plus Coot-tha with Kez and Macca. Pace was pretty slow due to Macca being new to road cycling. Took Coot-tha easy basically to give Mat some support on the way up, turns out its quite a scenic climb when you take 15mins to ride it.

Short run around uni testing the new shoes and orthotics. Was intending on doing a bit less but was daydreaming and did a longer lap. A few twinges in the achilles but seemed to handle it ok, will see if it flares up later.

Solo Mt Nebo ride. Legs bit tired from yesterday, only road to jolly's lookout cause i couldnt be stuffed climbing out of the village. Would have been a nice ride except for the roar of motorbikes on the mountain.
