Didnt have a watch but pretty sure i ran low 16mins for this, used the clock inside the house to sorta time it. Was meant to be cruisey run but got attacked by the local magpie and the pace kicked up a bit after that. Was feeling good so went hard most of the way. Still coughing heaps of crap up and still got head cold feeling from weekend.

Was feeling knackered after yesterdays smackdown but nailed down a gel before the start which helped. Everything was pretty much perfect except for the confusing set up of the specatator run through where i lost 2mins.

When i arrived at the event I was relaxed and focused as usual. But then Blair came up and told me I could still win Junior national league if i came 1st or 2nd. So the nerves hit me then and that was nearly the end of me. Lost 2 minutes on first control but managed to relocate luckily. Got into a decent rhythm but wasnt feeling as crash hot as last weekend. Managed to pull it together to hold Kurt off by 40 secs. Pretty stoked about win but downside is i almost got beaten by a 15yr old boy.

Reasonably happy with result. Normally either running really well and buggar up nav or run really shit and have awesome nav. But managed to keep the pace up this time, died a bit on the last loop which dropped me a few places but still alright.

NOL race on Aus schools champs course at graveyard creek. Went out really hard and suffered for it on the last loop. Managed to drop 2mins to Scott Macdonald cause i was running out of steam. Still 1st place aussie junior.

Was buzzing before this race and started out hard and finished hard. Still scrappy with navigation in some technical stuff but not too bad. Lost 7mins easy, but a wins a win.

Limestone/Queens park smackdown. Guess this is an indication of my fitness. Felt bit better today but still feeling flat. Still managed a PB for this run though. Kicked up the pace after the 1700m split and finished strong. So looking alright for aus champs

Another badly set QLD champs slogfest. Started off with some long sorta route choice legs, then the short technical legs were just a slog through lantana and steep. Ended up not running fast through the last half due to lack of motivation from the terrain being shit. Hopefully maryborough will be good.

Hills loop round Denmark hill. Think i've done this 30secs quicker than pb for it so not bad. Still created a lot of pain for me though

Steady run on the smackdown course. Still feeling bit flat running but guess thats from jetlag. Freakin magpie seasons back and the same one is back again. Might need to invest in an air rifle.

First race back in aus at crappy gap creek. Went without a compass to make it harder, which worked cause did a parallel error on a creek. Never seen so much water here before, someone could have drowned out there.
