Club relay thingy at Ripley Hills. Started off well for the first half but started to die just before the massive hill. Got even more fucked up on it but pushed through it. Stuffed the spectator slightly cause i got the shits with all the long grass so started walking. Bit of a combination of fitness loss and a late night. Leg seemed to recover quickly today.

Did the usual interval session on the bike
[5min w/u, 3min 80%, 2min easy,5X (1min hard, 1min easy), 2min easy, 3min 80% 5min w/d]

Strange thing was i couldnt get my heart rate over 180 this time. Every other week ive done this i get up to at least 185 but was struggling to break 170. Felt really comfortable and was recovering quickly after each hard interval. Think it might be something to do with running again.

Went up to Stanthorpe with Kieran, laurina, krystal and bridgey. Ran a course on cascades liz bourne had set us. Running was ok bit sore compared to sunday. Navigation is what amazed me. Pretty much nailed the first 12 controls, then the last 3 had a bit of a brain explosion but relocated easy enough.

First event in around 11 weeks. Ran the red 5 course. Nothing too technically challenging. Running was pretty good compared to monday and wednesday. Groin muscle was only a bit tight but didnt actually hurt and legs didn't get really sore afterwards.

Warm up before run. Ran round the carpark aswell and had already run down from the start so it was more than 600m. God damn that hill was steep

Steady ride on windtrainer. Legs rooted from yesterdays run.

Got the incomplete police report today in a CTP package. So far its a crock of shit. They've twisted my "morphine induced" statement, left out my injuries(i.e. apparently wasnt admitted to hospital) and other screwed up things like that. Also it states that i was travelling west when i was going east so i wonder if they looked at the correct side of the road. So its pretty much in favour of the truckie at the moment but we can argue against that. So the fucker is not gonna get away with it yet.

First run in around 10.5 weeks. Did 4 laps of the ring road up at the park with molly. Took it pretty easy. Every muscle in my legs are aching now. The groin muscle in my right leg is still hurting but it was more tight then sore when i was running. Fitness wise i wasnt too bad so thats a good sign.

Back from mackay. Planted 920 trees for the timber plantation. Involved digging 920 holes with mattics and then planting by hand. Gave body good work out. Haven;t tried a proper run yet but ran down this steep hill with molly for 100m which wasnt too bad. Coming back up my right leg was sore.

Intervals. Heartrate didnt break 183 till the 4th hard interval. Went absolutely flat out in the last hard one in the last 20secs and managed to get heartrate up pretty high. Recovered pretty quickly after it though so i think thats a good sign.

Tried some aqua aerobics at the pool with mum. Was meant to be a multi level fitness class but didnt find it too hard. I think it mainly helped the damaged muscles in my leg which is good.

Raced Kieran on the Blue course except that he also had to do the green course as well. Won by 20secs. It took him 4.40mins to do the blue.
