Orienteering (Classic NOL) 1:43:00 [4] 11.2 km (9:12 / km)

Was ready to finish after the first loop at the half way mark, but I kept going struggling around the rest of the course. Hit the wall on numerous occasions, 11km in the forest is a long way. Especially in 27 degrees.

Orienteering (Middle distance NOL) 40:20 [4] 50.7 km (48 / km)

Had a good run in the middle distance race. Lost about 1 min on control 3, and about 30 sec at 6. Did'nt see anyone else out there. Sank up to my knees in mud (it looked dry) then fell flat on my face, it was a little tricky getting up and freaked me out- thought i had fallen in quick sand. Nice open fast terrain.

went for a nice easy run with Theo at aths training. Could'nt quite bring myself to doing hills with everyone else- my shins would not be happy with that. A little sore to start with but warmed up quickly.

3x Optus Oval reps. (3x1600m) with substantial warm up and warm down. My shins were sore at the start and finish. Should have bought new shoes sooner! maybe I should give myself some ultrasound at placement tomorrow (dont think i'd get away with it though)
