Bear Creek Lake, red course, 8.2 km straight line. Decent run. Wasn't the best going to 1, I always get caught up in the ditches NNW of the start, veg in that area could be updated. Going to 2 got fooled by the wrong pits with spot knolls, should have paid attention better, and leaving 2 and going to 3 wasn't great. At around 7 a prickly pear spine when right through my shoe into my right big toe knuckle, ran with it the rest of the course, stopped once to see if anything could be done and almost took my shoe off. When it bothered me, it really sucked, but it didn't for some long stretches which was good. Going around the hill I went too high, which was slow because it was such a slide slope, which was not good for the spine issue and only wore a single pair of socks because my arthritic toe was acting up and it needed the space. Therefore my shoes were a bit loose. Leaving 11 my clue holder stopped my watch (will put it on my right hand from now on) so the course is just from my recollection until near 14. Cut into 16 too early, should have just gone around the end of the green maybe. Pretty good run and course overall.
