Orienteering 48:23 [4] 4.6 mi (10:31 / mi)
Day-O at Buena Vista. Felt really suggish and a bit sore from the day before. Splits on the first 3-4 controls were pretty slow. O-ed pretty well, except #7, got pushed too low and had to relocate, tried hard not to make any mistakes but I was tired which affected my route choice (should have just gone to the hill top), there was enough detail that it was possible to identify features wrong easily which caused the error. Oh well, that gave the win to Craig, who always runs more cleanly that me usually. See links from Saturday for results.

Control retrieval. #51 was in the wrong place (first control on green), it was placed on a boulder about 150 meters too far east from where it was placed on the map. The boulder in a shallow re-enterant indicated on the map for the control doesn't exist, just a small rocky area.
I'm really surprised I didn't get my HR higher, could be the elevation and fatigue not allowing that (didn't wear the HR strap in the race, worried it would be a distraction).
