Ran the Ginny trail to Mahoney park and back down the powerline to the lower valley trail. Around 8-9 miles, about 1500' of continuous climb in the first 48 min. Generally felt good, but had some GI issues that required a stop off the trail in Mahoney park. TP was going to be an issue but I found what I've been calling the "lamb's ear like plant" . Since the run I found out it is commonly referred to as "Cowboy Toilet Paper," though it's real name is mullein (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verbascum_thapsus). It's non-native so I won't worry about decimating a few plants for an important cause. Given the choices in this part of the country, its no surprise to see that the cowboys and I would think alike when in a pinch.
