Orienteering race 15:09 [5] *** 2.2 km (6:53 / km)
spiked:13/15c shoes: Mudclaw O+340

Cranbury Park A-Meet - Sprint A - Probably my best race of the weekend. It helped that it was the first and I was not fatigued. Really only had navigational problems with the 1st control, then a physical problem with a turned ankle and a fall into a shallow pit right as I was punching at #2. I maybe would have picked up 45 seconds in an ideal race - 46 if I had been allowed to punch after falling down ;-)

Note: I turned the ankle two more times during the weekend - which I think can be attributed to the shoes. I wore the Mudclaws, which are cut pretty low, for all 4 races. They don't have a lot of miles, and lost a couple studs. So maybe I can keep them for less demanding trail running and start looking for next seasons shoes....

Orienteering race 17:57 [5] *** 2.3 km (7:48 / km)
spiked:10/13c shoes: Mudclaw O+340

Cranbury Park A-Meet - Sprint B - This was definitely my worst race and I can't chalk it up to fatigue. I had promblems at #1 and #5. #1 was along the swamp and although I crossed the trails knowing where I was, I could not locate the control. I messed up #5 by taking a bad line over the ridge from #4 and getting confused with the trail network.

Orienteering race 18:19 [4] *** 3.2 km (5:43 / km)
spiked:18/21c shoes: Mudclaw O+340

Cranbury Park - A-meet - Finals sprint. I was tired and had a bad nav error on my second control. I was following a crowd and at the second control on the loop was not sure I was on the right loop. Thankfully it was a sprint and over in under 20 minutes!
