Upper body session with Liam. Did the session that had most overlap with what Peter showed us on Saturday because Liam was not prepared to do legs after Sunday's hills and the other upper body session had some things we weren't sure of. Had to get Peter to show us some of the core exercises we had struggled with when he came through later. Peter had said he thought we should be able to get through these new sessions a bit faster than the old ones but this took us a lot longer and we only did half the sets on the plan.

About 1km in the indoor 25m pool. I was relying on the watch to count laps and it wasn't doing a great job of it. Only one other person in the pool so had a lane to myself the whole time. First 400m steady in about 8:30 then switched to just doing one or two laps at a time with significant rests so I could try to keep better technique. Usually around 55s per 50m for the shorter efforts.

Podiatrist happy with my improvement, to the point where he wasn't going to bother with the shockwave therapy until I reminded him he was going to do my achilles at the same time. After another look at my achilles he decided it was worth doing. Painful, but only briefly. Another week of no running as light bouncing was still making it a bit sore.
