Hike with my sister. Carried W in the backpack for a good 30+ lbs. Ended up being a bit of a workout between the pack and rolling terrain. Beautiful day.

15x1 minute hills. Felt great but then realized I didn’t have a headlamp as the sun set.... last 2 miles in near darkness by the light of my cell phone... had to power hike a few dicey sections. Cool temps tonight felt amazing!

Wow. It's really f-ing hot today. By mid-morning it was 90F (almost 100F heat index) with 70% humidity. Yuck. Did 15x 45sec sprints + 75 sec super easy. I felt like I was barely moving but splits were better than I feared. Would have jumped in the river if the tide wasn't out / too muddy, so settled for blasting the AC instead on the way home. Eastern Trail with Mose.

Descending hill intervals. So so so hot today plus late ride = trainer ride in the somewhat cooler garage. Still worked up quite a sweat. Phew.

Back from a wedding in Vermont, hopped on the trainer for a late evening ride. Simulated 30/30 hill attacks. Felt so good to shake the legs out.
