Orienteering race (Oxford City Race) 45:18 [4] **** 6.29 km (7:12 / km)
spiked:26/29c (injured) shoes: Salomon Speed Cross

1230 - Oxford City Centre. 1:5'000. Sprint map of Oxford. Started at University Parks and toured the main city, dodging through pedestrians, bikes and traffic. Lots of nooks and crannies amongst the university. Finished 16th, Oli Johnson winning in 36:45. ITB hurt like hell. Only a couple of small mistakes, mainly overshooting controls that were hung against walls.

Mountain Biking (East Anglia) 3:30:00 [2] 50.0 km (14.3 kph)

1100 - Rode a borrowed bike from Parham, Suffolk through to Snape Maltings, Aldeburghe and back. Got caught in the dark after about 4.30pm. The bike was a bit hard as well (no shocks) but most of the route was tar anyway. Superb countryside, single lane roads and tall hedges on either side.
