Oh so sore, walking round uni and sleeping made me feel better

Orienteering race (QLD NOL (Long)) 1:23:09 [4]
shoes: VJ Twister

Started bad, losing about 1:30 with misses at 2,4 and 5 and a bad route to 3. Robbie started even worse and I caught him at 7, and we were together for the rest of the course. He was pulling me up most hills and we ran pretty clean for the rest. 4th on the day, and 3rd overall.

Hit the beach at Noosa on the way back to the airport which was sweet after a hard 2 days.

Now for a blatant plug: Thanks to liggo for his luxury apartment, definately the best accom i've had on an O trip! Excellent location, beach views; highly recommended, 5 stars.

Orienteering race (QLD NOL (Middle)) 33:26 [5] ***
shoes: VJ Twister

Not an overly technical map, but you had to concentrate hard to keep good direction and spot the point features (which was made even more fun by having around 1/7th of the termite mounds actually on the map).

A handful of small misses (all <30s) almost all due to sloppy compass work. 5th today, not entirely unhappy given amount (lack) of recent running.
