ACT League event at Cooleman Ridge. Did the Red 2 because Cathy has me on a restricted km diet. Good map - great really when you consider how close it is - open and grassy with patches of white, green and lots of rocks. I had a scrappy run - smoked the first leg but then made a school-boy mistake on #2, leaving the control the wrong way. Lost more time on #3, I couldn't find good running around the rocky hill, and generally didn't manage my height well enough on the contouring legs. Lost a bit of time in other places, #9, #10 and #16 but was pretty clean in the last couple of tricky ones. I didn't feel fast and felt particularly slow on the hills but it looks like it wasn't too bad as I ended up ~1.45 behind Lachy although somewhat down on pace compared to Craney on the Red 1.

Usual commute plus from work to Little Hoggster's and back for a cancellation appointment to check out my foot. Cathy doesn't think it's too dire, i.e., not a stress fracture, but I've got to take it easy for a bit and work on arch strength and left glute function.

Took it easy but still some soreness in left foot. Right calf tightened up again too ... I'm broken ... Have an appointment with Little Hoggster next week.
