Had to skip the long run due to time constraints so squeezed in short hilly run, an ascent of Coot-tha with a bit of extra climbing. This is part of my training plan leading up to Aus champs, which is to add more hills and build some strength. I may also add some some hill sprints and terrain running. My right ankle, which I sprained last Sunday, was good except for when I jammed it on a rock, should be right soon.
Interesting observation: my HR up Coot-tha was a fair bit lower than I expected from my perceived effort and breathing rate. I'd have thought the two were tightly coupled.
