Running long 1:10:00 [3] 13.6 km (5:09 / km) +375m 4:31 / km
shoes: Asics DS Trainer 13

A short-ish long run from Clare's with Clare, Anna, Rachel, Brea, Tamsin and Richard. Went off the front with Rachel, which felt pretty comfortable until we hit the bottom of the Gap Ck loop and started climbing that nasty Death Adder Tr, then legs felt useless and Rachel ran away. Managed to keep up from the top until home and we managed 4:30/km from the car park to Clare's. Had a refreshing swim, some nice porridge and a couple of coffees at Clare's. It's a great way to start the weekend :)

My achilles wasn't always that comfortable during this run. I felt awkward a lot, like I don't know how to run properly on my left side any more. It was little sore after during plantarflexion but the cold swim and the isometric exercises improved it a lot.

Achilles feels good today, riding the MTB must be good for it.
