Note

Snowshoed from the Chateau at Lake Louise up to Lake Agnes with Megan, our friend Cheryl from Canberra and Marieke, Nicola and Svetlana from the uni. It's 7km with 374m climb. Most of the track was already broken but there were also fun bits of deep powder. Unfortunately, it was overcast and there was no view. ITB was pretty good though started to trouble me on the way down.

Running 1:15:00 [1]
(injured) shoes: Asics Gel 2100

Met Luca at his place and headed off toward Confed Park. I was testing out the ITB a bit more and it failed. Ran maybe 4km before pain started. Tried stretching a few things but nothing helped so I left Luca to finish his run and jogged and walked home.

Running 17:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Gel 2100

A grand start to running again … Strapped up my knee and went out to see how it would hold up. It was good actually. I would have run further except for a stitch. Stupid stitches have plagued me on and off for years — more off than on of late, thankfully.

Followed run up with 3 × 15 single leg squats and 3 × 10 dynamic bridges on a gym ball, rolled my ITBs and stretched.

Note
(sick)

Still sick. Did some computer work on an addition to the UofC map for a TNT later this winter.
