Santa brought Z a kids Garmin this year (because Z came downstairs last night while I was bringing into the house the American Girl vet clinic that was meant to be from Santa...), and she wanted to test it out with a run together. It was about 2/3 great and 1/3 me reminding myself to be patient with a seven-year-old who's just getting her (running) feet under her.

Three full days of wandering around Williamsburg. Lots of time on my feet, often with 25-30 pounds of two-year-old on my shoulders, left my ankle pretty fatigued. Going to try running again today now that we're home.
