Just kind of acknowledging that this week is a wash. The kids start back in school/childcare on Monday for the first time since March 9. Ambivalences of that notwithstanding, I'm very much looking forward to having a little bit more "normalcy" to my schedule for the first time in six months.

Note

My mom had a heart attack on Sunday. She's okay, relatively speaking. Came home from the hospital today. We'll have a better read on the extent of the damage in a couple months, once they do another echo. It's certainly thrown off everyone's equilibrium this week. Please forgive the tired eyes and puffy face in last night's virtual nationals info session. Cringed a little bit seeing the recording on FB today.
