Family ride to the grocery store, Z on my back. River trail was crowded today!

Ride home from the store - Z still with me, B hauling a week's worth of groceries!

Body Work 1 [0]

Post-ARWC niggles -- knee pain the product of a super tight quad. Ankle bones popped back into place and achilles tightness and pain magically disappeared!
6 PM

Bike - Roads 59:39 [3] 13.32 mi (13.4 mph) +339ft
shoes: Niner Air9 RDO

Legs felt pretty sluggish and my bike needs a good cleaning post-race, but I enjoyed being out. Raised my seat a touch when I got home, which seemed to help (did I really ride the final leg of the race with it that low??).

HR monitor hasn't miraculously started working again since I left - time to look into a new battery.

Note

Feels like I came home from the race more rested than I am right now. Z had to have a sleep study last night (tonsils are coming out) and I slept at the hospital with her. Got about three hours of dozing throughout the night. Life with a three-year-old...

Trekking (Treadmill) 55:32 [3] 3.66 mi (15:10 / mi) +568ft 13:14 / mi
shoes: Brooks Launch 3 - Black

Poor man's substitute for the hike I was hoping to squeeze in earlier today. First time in socks and shoes since the finish line. Achilles is fine trekking, still a little tender running. Toes are still predictably tingly and feet feeling generally mashed up.
