Kayak Erg 45:00 [3] 7.17 km (9.6 kph)

Forgot to mention in my Itera recap, but I was generally super happy with my paddle fitness during the race. Getting on the water would have been better, obviously, but in the absence of that, the erg went a long way in terms of strength and endurance. I'm sold.

Other choice paddle gear: OSSystems dry suits (there were moments when I veered toward hypothermic even with the suit. Can't imagine those paddles for the teams without them), and the greatest invention of all: the she-wee. Look it up.

Note

Knee felt pretty crummy last night but better this morning. Still reluctant to hit the "injured" button but going to take a cautious approach to the next week.
8 PM

Stretching 20:00 [1]

Stretching/foam rolling. Felt significantly better today.

Body Work 45:00 [0]

Quality time with Stuart to work on the knee - good timing, as today is the first day I'm able to walk down the stairs with something approximately a normal gait. A little bit of LCL tenderness but mostly just a jacked up IT band. Always fun to hear, "Ooh, that's bad."

Rest good, biking fine, trekking okay, no running for a little while.

Also stretched out my wrists, which are feeling mostly normal at this point.
2 PM

Bike - Roads (Commuting) 48:31 [3] 11.12 mi (13.8 mph) +550ft
shoes: Salsa 29er

To GA and around Ft Washington SP. Bike needs some attention, but it's rideable.
5 PM

Bike - Roads (Commuting) 34:24 [3] 7.78 mi (13.6 mph) +472ft
shoes: Salsa 29er

Home from GA.
