Haven't been in to see Stuart the chiropractor since I broke (and dislocated) my tailbone in a mountain biking fall a handful of years ago. I was past due. He worked on my perpetually tight IT bands and my left hip flexor some but spent most of his time on my right glute/periformis, which is super tight.
With the snowgaine coming up next weekend, he recommended a lot of stretching and a week off from running. Can still bike and trek. Going back in to see him again after the race. I may make this a semi-regular part of the routine this season.

Made it about 3/4 mile from home before getting paranoid that we'd forgotten to let the dogs in before leaving for the day. Turned back for home. Dogs were warm and safe. Back to Chestnut Hill.
