ORIENTEERING ◪ race 56:09 [3] 8.84 km (6:21 / km)
shoes: Silva O shoes

Oz relay Champs, ran last leg in Vics 2 team, slightly under at 1, bad miss on 3, 3 1/2 mins, took notice of the mapping on the way to 4, pulled my left calf on the uphill? out of 16, then tried to make it worse by running down the last starter in the finish chute. I got there

ORIENTEERING ◪ race 2:26:30 [2] 18.3 km (8:00 / km)
shoes: Teva #2

Oz long Champs, was going alright till 3, when I decided that if I was going to finish, I would have to slow down as I was struggling to get air in. Walked most uphills from there, ran a little, lost a lot of time on 20, only just made it back home, long day

ORIENTEERING ◪ race 20:34 [5] 4.5 km (4:34 / km)
shoes: Nike racing flats

Oz Sprint Champs, drifted badly out of 2, not to shabby through the sale yards, missed slightly on the grand stand, threw me for the next leg, but missed 30 secs on 3rd last, couldn't see it behind the bush. Bit weird that 2 controls (23 & 24) were in olive green

Note

Head all blocked up, shouldn't go to Qld, but I will, and I should run as well, but I will

shoes: Nike Zoom

Shortened lap of the Tan

RUN race 13:30 [5] 3.83 km (3:31 / km)
shoes: Nike racing flats

2 40+ teams from Bendigo today, we decided not to stack the teams, so instead of me being in the same team as Peter, I got to run against him. Put my hand up for 1st leg once I found out he was. Let him lead for most of Anderson St, then showed myself so he knew I was there, that fired him up and he pushed harder, so sat back. Came again as we approached the Shrine, but he got me at the top of the rise, sat and waited for my time till 500 to go, then gave it one last try. To good for me today, I ended up 4 secs in arrears. Johnny, running last leg, got me as well by 14 secs. But I did get to beat Steve McLennan for the 1st time this year

RUN warm up/down 8:00 [3] 1.6 km (5:00 / km)

Ran back 800 m to watch Moook bring the Div 2 team home for a win. Nothing can stop us going to div 1 next year now. On todays results, we would have had a battle with Monna's team (Ballarat YCW) for 6th place in div 1 Bring it on

shoes: Nike racing flats

Course went from the Pony Club, onto the SG map, then crossed the road to OTH. Didn't go to hard as lungs still got muck in them. Well set by Heather, 15 controls and a couple of short legs. Tripped over and crashed at one stage, must have hit the ground hard as the leg is still sore
