Long Course race 2:10:00 [4] 7.2 km (18:03 / km) +330m 14:41 / km

Had approx a 40 minute lead. Then I lost my e-punch on way from point 9 to 10. A man on his course stopped to help me - very kind - then I told him to continue his course. Searched for about 20 minutes, until Todd came by. Ended up walking back to the start with him. Felt really good about the race though. Was making good times and route selections. The paths were occasionally hard to differentiate due to thick foliage, but it was a welcomed challenge.

Had a decent race. Got disoriented for approx 10 minutes, but only came in second by 1:30. Means that my speed has improved and that is not my downfall. I just need to keep improving my navigation and maintain my map orientation.
