Had planned to do this a few weeks out and the cold wasnt going to stop me and the calf was gonna be ok on the bike on the decided.

Good fun loop, felt pretty good the whole way really and probaly could have even quickened up the northern bit on what I did.

Prong joined in from Coolo ridge to Red Hill and luckily didnt show too much ill effects of a cold. Then Ian joined from Ainslie shops (where he had a pint and hot chips) to home. He was pretty stoked with the ride considered he's still on the return to exercise trail. We didnt push the northern loop at all but he definely didnt struggle ether.

Calf was a little tight after the mornign jogs but i wanted ot get out for a run so figured I'd start and take it easy, which i did. I still manged to strain the calf after about 200m.

Figured I'd try to job it out a little and pull out at the end of forst loop but it gradually loosened and decided to finish off the course and even felt ok enough to quicken up at the end.

Time about where I thought I'd be on current fatness levels

Checked out a cool long ST descent near Kangaroo Crossing map. Long FT climb then the start of the descent is awesome and the bottom gets more techy and is a bit sketchy with erosion and over use. Apparently there is a new lower half so we’ll see chaeck it out at some stage.
