Cool but humid day. Started at 2:30 with Jude; Rt223, Gore Rd. East Bethel road to the sculpture pasture.

A few raindrops were falling, but no storms in the forecast....
Right turn in E. Bethel onto Rumford Rd., then south on 223, drops turning to light rain, to moderate rain, thunder. cloud lightning,

hard rain, ground lightning, counting the seconds..1 mile away... 1/2 mile, pouring so hard we can hardly see, streams of water on the road, into Bryant Pond, along the tracks, CRACK! BOOM!, less than 200meters to that one, onto the porch and home.

Note

No morning run, listening to the relays. Great run by Ross, Eddie getting a lead over Canada. Then Sam's great run...
