O at Balmain which was mostly streets. I don't know why they didn't use the good bits in the area!

This was one of my worst attempts so far. I felt very tired from the start due to being in the middle of a big block of training. Tried to drag myself around the course running with Richard Green now and then. Rolled my bad ankle ripping through the tape again near no.30 so I had to slow down for the next 5 or so minutes and later lost over a minute at no.11 looking around a bare rock which was in the description but the control had been placed closer to the road. I actually gave up on the control and started to go to the next when I luckily saw it out of the corner of my eye. It's becoming a recurring theme with this year's Summer Series, wrong control placements! The last 2km were my fastest, only because I wanted to finish on time. Got all controls with 20+ seconds to spare, a minute behind Glenn Horrocks.

Good fun course on Bicentennial Park. Legs were feeling really heavy and tired from the weekend. No real mistakes, a little hesitant going to the 1st and tried to go through the 'white' to no.7 which was more 'green'. Lost 30 secs to Macey on that one. AP says I only lost time on no.10 but I suspect that was because people ran through the uncrossable fence. Managed to hold off the the young guys but it's only gonna be a matter of time :)
