why did I do red and actually finish it-
Ok so I did fairly well overall. I did my four windows essentially in order from hardest to easiest, and I got all of the woods running done in the first half. Plus, my overall route choices were good. And I tried to run and was able to for a lot (I'd even say it was 50/50 with running and walking, which is rare for me). With the exception of getting lost and making about a 15-20 minute error on H and a tiny bit of confusion costing me a minute or two on F, I ran pretty clean. Oh and going to N I got out on the wrong trail and didn't realize for a few seconds, but I caught it and fixed it pretty quickly, so it maybe cost me 30 seconds.
My order was:
J -> I -> G -> H -> F
K -> M -> L -> O -> N
-long running bit I absolutely hated but i had to go through-
V -> W -> X -> Y -> U
T -> R -> P -> Q -> S
Isn't it interesting how I can go from less than 100 steps per day to cranking out a 14km orienteering course under 3 hours.
