shoes: Brooks Cascadia 6

Half of the Ring, Elizabeth Furnace, Veach Gap. Kennedy Peak, Camp Roosevelt, Duncan Hollow, Crisman Hollow Road. Attempt to run the entire ring with support crew. Dropped out halfway to prevent injury, but saw all the sections of trail I have never been on.

Slow Fountainhead trail. Tube in the front tire with a slow leak did not hold up on the rough terrain. Long 40 minute break changing a tube. Tire is a very tight fit on the stans rim, difficult to mount with only 1 tire lever I had. I was near the top of a switchback hill climb. Another biker stopped to help while resting after the climb. Glad my mini pump works, had no CO2. Rest of the trail was a bit slow. I'm out of shape. Also brakes were rubbing.
