Fountainhead to Bull Run Marina. Testing out new OutThere backpack, carrying packraft, paddles and PFD, medium-heavy training load. Average just under 15 minute miles for 6 miles with hills.

Bull Run Marina back down to Fountainhead. Testing new packraft and paddle. Slow going, tried to avoid the floating debris.

Train and Drain bonus
Big group ride on Rivanna trail. Lots of stops to regroup due to heat, stream and road crossings, etc. Scenic and varied terrain, suburban, rode through shopping centers and neighborhoods, singletrack, paved trail, gravel, technical downhills, culverts, bike lane everything. Stopped for sit down lunch near the end. Hot riding in the sun especially on streets.
