Finished the 16 hour journey home at 11am, spent 6 hours unpacking and re packing at home before leaving for Holland. Exhausted.

Started well and went downhill veeery quickly. Dodgy route to #3 but meant I hit a better attack point. All good to #5. #6 was the long leg, should've taken around 10mins max. Not exactly sure where I went but lost contact, thought I'd hit my attackpoint, hadn't, faffed around in the wrong area for ages, realised the stream was too close, didn't adjust properly, finally hit the right ride and reattacked. All just took ages longer than it should've done - very tired, very unfit and not concentrating properly. Lost ~30mins. Didn't even learn the lesson for #7and messed around for ages thinking I'd crossed the mapped stream when I hadn't. Lost ~18mins. Didn't enjoy the open area at the end.

Really enjoyed this week at the Scottish! Serious motivation to get training.

Shameful.
Good plan to #1 and was executing perfectly until I managed to turn onto the right path without seeing the junction and then got very confused by the orientation and where I was so faffed around until I realised. Lost ~10mins. For #2 I tried to loop round the dark green but failed and fought my way through for a bit. Arms and legs shredded. Had to come back out and reattack properly. #4 I didn't plan properly and couldn't stay in contact with the map enough to be confident with where I was. Relocated off the path beyond. Lost ~10mins. #5 was long and slow and I was just fed up of the terrain and having to cross so many streams but good navigation for last bit. Terrain go so much nicer for the end and I enjoyed the last 6 legs!

Drifted too far south to #1 so hit the wrong marsh losing ~3mins. Overshot #3 not sure how I misread the massive hills but relocated fairly easily losing ~5mins. Also stopped to help about 3 small children after leaving #2. #5 was pretty slow thanks to a grotty bit of forest. #6 didn't plan properly and had to relocate, lost ~4mins. Loved the area again.

Loved the area, loved the map, loved the course. Couple of hesitations early on adjusting to the 1:7,500 and left the path too early for #11 largely due to getting distracted by the hundreds of people running through that bit of wood. Rest of time loss is purely on running speed because I'm tragically unfit. Very enjoyable course but not particularly challenging in any way.

Enjoyed the area in the open, lost ~5mins to #2 being on the wrong ridge. Bad route leaving #8 and left the path too early for #9. Completely mucked up #10. Grotty bit of forest and lost contact, couldn't relate the contours to the ground at all and faffed trying to relocate. Lost ~15mins. #11 I still didn't understand the contours but easy bearing leg - must have been about 2m away but didn't see it losing ~3mins, stupid.
