Sydney Sprint #9 at Manly Dam
An actual sprint map mapped to ISSOM standards!
I was excited and felt good. Lost time on a route choice to #2 - I went on the rocks along the water, but should have gone back around on the road. Clean and fast otherwise until #9, where I simply lost the trail and ended up fighting through the bush to get back to it. Cautious to 10, good after that.

Note

Andy's stories of racing the City Chase have me tempted to give it a shot, either in Sydney or New York. CityChase New York would be perfect, but it will almost certainly conflict with an A-Meet this year.
Sydney is on March 27th. I am obviously a pretty useless teammate in terms of knowing my way around Sydney, but I am reasonably fit and pretty good at reading maps and solving puzzles. Is there a Sydneysider (or anyone else, for that matter) out there who'd be interested in racing the Sydney CityChase with me on March 27th? Let me know!
9 AM

Running 2:10:04 [2] 13.64 mi (9:32 / mi)
shoes: Blue Asics 2009

Morning run from Andy's house in Mosman. Started with Andy and Glenn and picked up Prong, who had kayaked from Sydney, along the way. Beautiful run with awesome views back towards Sydney. Ran to Manly, took a dip in the sea and had some Slurpees before heading back. Suffered going up the hill towards Andy's place at the end, but a great run nonetheless.

Sydney Summer Series #21
Berrys Creek

Felt really good today, probably because it was about 10 degrees cooler than usual. Ran well and had no problems orienteering, but probably could have chosen a better route, especially towards the end. Can anyone out there come up with a better route?

My order: 20-9-29-28-18-27-17-16-8-30-10-19-26-5-24-15-7-6-25-14-13-23-22-3-2-4-12-21-1, 4 minutes over for 540 points, 30 behind Andy.
