Running with Dan and Laura on a very cold and windy day in Manhattan. Legs felt tired from the weekend, but not too bad.

VOC/US Team A-Meet, Day 3 - sprint.

Started fast on the very cold day, ended up making a couple of 10- or 15- second mistakes, but otherwise pretty happy with the run and with the way the whole week-end turned out.
Thank you to everyone who came and to Vlad, Joey, Eric, and the rest of the organizers and volunteers!!!

I hope that people had an enjoyable time at the meet, and that other clubs will be interested in making such deals with the US Team in the future.

VOC/US Team A-Meet, Day 2.
Things were a little calmer today, but I still felt tired and a bit stressed - doing random crap for the meet right up to the start.
Made a huge error on number 4: the third control was too high, and i never adjusted for it. Stayed way too high on the hillside, ran far past 4, and eventually came back, losing 10 minutes. More or less ok the rest of the way, but quite demoralized.

Not too good to run after staying up and stressing out all night, as our flight got cancelled late Friday night. Grr. Messed up the first control by about 2 min, then ran with Alexei and made a few other mistakes, small ones, mostly.
