Spin class 50:00 [3]

Continuing the heavy resistance theme for the week

Bit of snow this morning

Gym time 25:00 [3]

Weights and core

And more snow as we came out of the gym

XC Skiing (Streets/park) 36:00 [3] 2.3 mi (3.8 mph)

I dressed for a bike ride and made it to the first stop sign, then realized that there was enough snow to ski! Rode back to the house for the fastest TA ever!

And it did indeed snow enough to ski from the back door to the park, along the streets! A few loops of the park then home again.

Gym time (Boot camp) 55:00 [3]

Test day. How many _______ can you do in 30 seconds. Write it down. And within 15 seconds start the next activity. Burpees, pushups, shuttle run, bench jumps etc. There were a few people sprawled on the floor afterwards i.e) I was not alone.

Spin class 50:00 [3]

3 minutes standing at heavy resistance then 2 minutes seated then 1 minute sprinting with a bit less resistance. Repeat a few times.

Note

Winter is coming to the banana belt on Saturday. One of those odd systems where the south gets more snow than the north.
I really shouldn't set myself up for disappointment though.

Yoga 45:00 [3]

I didn't go to class as I wanted to get to bed earlier. So I did some of the most appropriate poses/flows at home.
The cat was always on the mat with me.

XC Skiing (Mostly trackset) 45:00 [3] 3.5 mi (4.7 mph)

One of the longer loops at Kivi Park. I added in a climb to almost the highest point in the park. I met a fat biker at the top who mentioned that some want to close that route due to steepness + sharp curves. It didn't seem that dicey as I herringboned up the hill. But going down...... Well, even I snow ploughed part of it, as it is quite steep and has a couple sharp/blind curves.
I could have done a few other loops but headed back to my son's to hang out with him (and start a pot of soup).
