Soybean harvest started yesterday. I squeezed in a short ride near the office before sunrise and before the mayhem began for the day/weekend/month/season.

It is still summer, right? Yes, I had a small hot fudge sundae at Danielle's in Harrow while i dealt with a flurry of text messages with customers and truckers (when will my truck arrive? What time can I get scheduled to unload?). Ride home in total darkness (tiny sliver of a moon) but I had 2 light systems running on the front of my bike.
And the Leamington hockey season has begun. So yes, I am playing hockey two nights a week. The season did not start with a slow game. Hockey muscles (and skills) will need to get tuned up!
From the campsite to Scudder, with a stop at the bakery for what turned out to be a mini apple pie (very impressed). Checked out the ruins of Vin Villa through the fence, took a detour to see the pheasants, then onto the ferry. Back in Kingsville, my nephew's bike had a very bad case of chain suck. It really needs a tune up. All in all, a terrific mini adventure. Perfect weather! Now for a nap before hockey!
Hockey (Skills) 50:00 [3]
A full session of power skating. Some tricky stuff mixed in!
