Spin class 50:00 [3]

It was race day, mountain bike style (instructor used to be a mountain bike racer).

Gravel Bike (Gravel/pavé) 2:45:00 [3] 35.0 mi (12.7 mph)

Shorts! Short sleeves! Sun!
Greenway to north of Harrow then zig zagged to Essex and back to Kingsville on gravel. And there was wind, as usual.

Gravel Bike hills 27:00 [3] 5.1 mi (11.3 mph)

Last weekend I suddenly realized that my bottom bracket had not been taken apart and cleaned (and I have ridden through some messy stuff). A new bike shop in Windsor offers 48 hour turn around time on service (and we know the guy who runs it) so I had the Warbird in for a spa treatment. Picked it up tonight and did 3 trips up Mt Malden (but not the steep side this time).

Jogging (In towb) 31:00 [3] 2.6 mi (11:55 / mi)
shoes: Other other

Slow, slow jog down to the lake and back over to the gym. Oh, the lilacs!

Gym time 30:00 [3]

Free weights and core.

Gravel Bike 40:00 [3] 6.5 mi (9.7 mph)

Hills at the park.

Yoga (Yin yoga) 1:10:00 [1]

Meant for the lungs, heart and intestines. What happened to hips and hamstrings?
Anyway, mostly upper body stuff, esp shoulders.

Gravel Bike 4:08:00 [3] 49.35 mi (11.9 mph)

The grand loop on mostly rail trails which are probably a lot safer to be on than roads on this weekend that is known for notoriously bad decisions behind the wheel.
We followed a rain cloud for the first third but only had wet trail to deal with, but no actual rain. At Oldcastle, we were very excited to see that an extension is being added to the Greenway that will connect it to the Herb Grey Parkway path, thereby avoiding a ride along a shoulderless road.
I stopped to adjust one cleat 2/3 of the way through and that felt better.
We took turns pulling on the last 4 miles or so into the wind.
So nice to ride in shorts, fingerless gloves and a short sleeved jersey :)

Note

Pretty cool that the background pic on the sign in page on Strava is the Old Man of Coniston.....on a less foggy day than when I went up there last September.
