yard and garden work, mainly moving mulch by wheelbarrow. More like 3 hours of actual work and distance is a very low end estimate. Generally light, low-level physical effort throughout.

Harbin Park mountain bike trails. With Orunner and the girls. Forerunner showed mileage at 4.58, but we think it was missing some of the sharp turns on the bike trails. I still need to figure out how well and how frequently it is reading under tree cover. Pizza afterwards. Mmmm.

Joyce Park bike path. Ran on grass along side for 80-90%, so I'm logging this as trail instead of road.

mile repeats on Joyce Park bike path. 2 minutes rest (very slow walking) between each interval. Managed to get negative splits, but I'm still a bit stiff from Sunday and was at 7:20 pace or above thru the first 3/4 mile on the last two miles. Really had to work the last quarter on the 3rd mile.

Cool down. Ran out 1/4 and back waiting for a couple of the girls and Orunner to finish their miles, then jogged back with them.

Camp Stonybrook. Lots of minor map updates and some new trail segments. Planning courses for Sunday. About 3 hours in the field. Did the OCAD updates in another hour or so on Wed night and Thurs. morning.

Miami Central Quad sprint course. No real mistakes, but Dave Waller was faster. Most of our splits were pretty close. He beat me 5 of the 1st 6 legs, but I got him on the last 4, then he edged me again on the run-in, partly by hurdling over the chain fence that I stopped to step over.

misc. light yard and garden. digging, moved a few wheelbarrow loads of dirt, trimming, chainsawed a large downed limb, etc. Good to loosen up a bit but still taking it pretty easy after the hard run yesterday.
