Road cycling 2:27:09 [3] 56.48 km (2:36 / km)
shoes: Bike: Beemer Auto

Mt Henry and around the river, rain forecast but stayed away. The new path under the Loch St bridge is finished - the cycling equivalent of an 8 lane freeway, the widest bike path I've ever seen.

Road cycling 2:58:07 [3] 68.71 km (2:36 / km)
shoes: Bike: Beemer Auto

Two rivers ride, battling 30km/h NNW headwind up the coast. Hat to wait 4 mins for a train at Tydeman Rd for only the second time in all the rides I've done through there.

Road cycling 33:00 [3] 12.0 km (2:45 / km)
shoes: Bike: Beemer Auto

Ride to physio in West Perth (and back) for neck treatment and bike refit. Since the previous bike fit when I first purchased the Beemer in 2013, I've gotten 5 years older, and the handlebars and saddle have been changed (accident earlier this year and wear & tear of leather respectively). Damien has also got some flash new equipment which included video (front and side) and a gizmo which shows where you are on the saddle. I have a right side saddle bias, which no adjustment of position could fix (and explains the wear on the previous saddle), but did show me overreaching for the pedals a little. Video showed a certain amount of head bobbing, also an indication of overreaching.

Saddle went down by 5mm and bars were rolled up by 3mm, and then I immediately felt more comfortable and more power - and the head stayed straight!. Well worth it! About 3kms equivalent on the trainer during the refit added to the ride distance of 9kms.

Orienteering race 18:49 [3] 1.8 km (10:27 / km)
ahr:126 max:138 shoes: X-Talon 190

Leg 1 Masters at WA Relays, Joondalup ECU, 2.41kms gps. Ran conservatively, trying to remember to mostly breathe through the nose, time unspectacular as a result - 2nd, but 4 mins behind Nick. Lost a minute climbing up to the wrong level at 5.

Used the Garmin because I wanted to see the HR if another spasm occurred - it didn't and the HR is equally as unspectacular as the run.

Orienteering race 15:54 [4] 1.9 km (8:22 / km)
ahr:132 max:147 shoes: X-Talon 190

Leg 3 of Relays. 2.33kms on Garmin 235. Tried to up the speed a bit this time, one small mistake - a level one again where I went under the bridge that the control was on.

Noel and I were 2nd, 6 mins behind Anthea and Nick, and 12 mins ahead of the next team. Looks like Nick made a 4 min error on his second leg.
