Road cycling 1:48:00 [3] 43.0 km (2:31 / km)
shoes: Bike: Bianchi Coast to Coast

Bassendean - same ride as last week, sans coffee stop.

Orienteering race 15:11 [5] ** 2.6 km (5:50 / km)
spiked:9/10c shoes: Inov8 X Talon 212

Nav Dash at UWA, gps route 3.09. One route choice error - didn't see the passage route out of 5, and backed out around the garden, probably added 40m and 20 secs. Very hot, and was slowing at the end, will probably lose the finish split by a decent margin.

Road cycling 3:03:51 [3] 68.17 km (2:42 / km)
shoes: Bike: Bianchi Coast to Coast

Hills ride with JB - Welshpool Rd, then across to Aldersyde, up Mundaring Weir Rd to Kalamunda and breakfast at Le Croissant du Moulin in Gooseberry Hill. At this stage we had done 37.3km in 1:54 for an average of just under 20kmh. Then down the Zig-Zag, through the back way to Guildford and then alongside the railway to East Perth and home. Saw a couple of guys on mtbs with map boards in Guildford looking lost - looked a bit like Wally actually. Much faster on the downhill run - 30.9km in 1:09.

What is it with the Shire of Kalamunda that all their road surfaces are so dead? Pomeroy Rd, Lawnbrook Rd and Mundaring Weir Rd are all bad, and they've just relaid Aldersyde Rd, where it looks like they put down the biggest aggregate they could find, then forgot to add bitumen and roll it.
