Stretching 25:00 [3]

Running 30:00 [3] 3.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 19

Kinda confused about why we did this today, yesterday day when I wasn't there the team did a really easy run, like today, and he's got an easy day scheduled for tomorrow, meet days are usually our hard days, so I assumed today would be a hard day of some sort, but you know what happens when you assume...

Strength/Core (Dynamic) 10:00 [3]

Ima feel this tomorrow

Note

The family situation was being delt with yesterday and today right after practice, in case any of you were wondering

Running warm up/down 8:00 [3] 1.0 mi (8:00 / mi)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 19

Running race 2:16 [5] 0.8 km (2:50 / km)
shoes: Adidas Adizero Avanti

Lead off for the 4x8 just tucked in for 650 meters and took the lead before the handoff

Running race 5:10 [5] 1.6 km (3:14 / km)
shoes: Adidas Adizero Avanti

I think my back half was 6-8 seconds faster than the first. Time was about what I expected, but hoped for better

Running race 2:19 [5] 0.8 km (2:54 / km)
shoes: Adidas Adizero Avanti

Open 8 tucked in again, but didn't get the w, am happy with the time

Running race 57 [5] 0.4 km (2:22 / km)
shoes: Adidas Adizero Avanti

Third leg of 4x4, had the w in the bag by the time the baton made it to me, but I think I lengthened the lead. First varsity 4x4 of my HS career and solid day all around

Stretching 45:00 [3]

Orienteering race 1:00:30 [5] *** 6.3 km (9:36 / km)
spiked:16/19c shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw

Yes! Finally! A good race this weekend! And this was after a hectic morning, getting me to the park 8 minutes before my start, and to the start a whole 90 seconds before the start, as Erin can attest to. I'm glad he gave me the advice of "keep it calm and slow the first few controls" or I would've just sprinted after I hit start and probably had a repeat of yesterday. I took it slow so I could read the map well in controls 2-5 and got some confidence and had an awesome run. I took some clues from yesterday and really paid attention to the map, and was proud of my navigation.
For breakfast I had 1 pop tart 4 hours before my start and a doughnut 2.5 hours before, combine that with being late, I'd say it was a successful day.

Running warm up/down 3:00 [4]

Race against the clock to the start

Misc. 20:00 [3]

Spike ball, weird game which I have no talent for, like at all

Stretching 10:00 [3]
