Leg 3. My dad ran leg 2, and we couldn't convince either of my sisters or my mom to run our other leg - disappointing, but not surprising. I got to use my own e-punch this time so lo and behold I was much faster, though I did make a 10s mistake where I missed a turn while scrutinizing the on-map descriptions for a complicated control placement. Also probably lost a few seconds on an inefficient route 9-10.

Winter League/WIOL relay @ SPU, leg 1. Fun course! I'm very familiar with this map so mainly just using it as training. My main issue was that since I was running two legs I had to use an old e-punch for one of them which was slow in itself, but since I was also waking up the controls it was taking me, like, multiple extra seconds at every control. This was highly amusing, particularly as juxtaposed with using SI Air at Sprint Camp the previous weekend.

Winter League 7/Winter League Champs @ Camp River Ranch. Fun, physical course with lots of tough off-trail running and some snow on the ground. Felt like I was getting my ass kicked, but mainly this was just one of those TMT-esque races where that's gonna be the case for everyone so you don't worry about it. Still, I definitely made some silly mistakes, especially early on (2 and 3). I also almost skipped the spectator control (15) entirely, and in general I'd characterize my compass work as "grotesque."

Ye olde BT loope. Still decent snow on the ground some places. I took a wrong turn at one point, weird.
