Paddling activity 1:00:00 [3]

Have been curious about it, and took my kid and his buddy out. Maybe not the best activity for wild and wooly 12 year olds. I would do it again. Could feel waist down, especially ankles and feet. Not very fast...

Tried the Strava app and it's pretty cool. Has the watts thing that Hilary has been talking about as well as climb, but I think that one needs to get that before closing the app, I can't find it now. Rode to ILRA, took a little single track in that put me at about Mile 5 on the Blue Loop. Finished Blue, hopped on the beginning of Yellow, did all of Yellow for the first time, then picked up Blue and finished it out and went out where I came in. GPS says ~16mi on the single track, the rest dirt road.

Cleared Jens' Badlands course-went backward. Watch died about halfway through, so, estimated the time. Took longer than expected with a bumble on 13, untying streamers and attacking thrice on a few where the streamer was gone. Great fun practicing some different ways of approaching and thinking through different routes. Love me some O-training.
