Chocolate at Chilson!
Went into this not feeling great, and now I am on antibiotics, an inhaler and nasal spray. Really wanted to go to get out of the house, so I went.
HR ran high, I think it's a reaction to the meds, because I never felt like I was really pushing it.
Into 2 I intentionally avoided the hill, going to an elevation that kept me flat. Been trying to practice that, but wonder if my choice of when to do that is good. Going into 3 I tried to keep track of everything, but lost track. Started to try to track back, and in hindsight was almost there! But dumped to the trail and re-attacked.
Trails to 4, and it popped soon! That 1:7k gets me. Headed to 5, then got my eye on 6 (eye roll here) so hustled to 5 then back to 6. :) To 7 tried to avoid some climb and made my way to a series of eastbound hills that got me to the big depression and the trail. Then traversed it back to 8. I had to pick apart the last 50m or so. Mark said he was watching me and was glad to see I stayed on the line. :) Later I learned that Mark and I took a lot of the same routes, which was awesome to hear! :)
Then the trail to the marsh to 9, again another bit of picking apart and making sure everything lined up. I got bumped around exiting 9 and was on the road so took that, I should have stayed to the east, but went west and attacked from the trail. Took a detour when I saw Todd looking confused out of 10...11 took trails again, and now seeing a bit of a cut through. Exited 11 down the spur to the trail then through the marsh to 12 and then through the junky woods to 13 and F.
