didn't get selected for div1 team so had a bit of a point to prove, but have been on the edge of sick last week with the fam (all covid clear) so wasn't sure how i'd hold up.
After 4 controls or so started tasting something acidic so took it a bit easier, but still wasn't feeling great at the end or for the rest of the afternoon... dunno.
Anyway nav wasn't fantastic, losing time here and there... noteable was the long leg (15) which i wanted to head directly up to the road (possibly a lot quicker and easier than trail) but stuffed that up and ended up half trail half road... oh well. Fun in the wet!
Was only 1 minute off Greg so selection well made, although Alistair did mispunch... maybe i should get selected ahead of him next time :P

Lane cove loop with brooner. was concerned about energy most of the way but made it within 200m of the finish before spontaneously collapsing in a heap.
Nice to feel exhausted in a familiar fitness-way rather than anything sinister, and great to have some company, and get on something other than TVT
