I needed an I pace workout, and I didn't have a track easily available so I did it on a treadmill instead. I did 5 sets of 4min, at 6:18 mile pace each. I just kind of guessed on intensity, and I think based on effort I got it right. The first two were easy, but the last two were hard. I'm glad I rested the day before. My legs felt fresh and I felt pretty strong throughout the workout.
I meant to do a track workout with Anna, but the MIT track was occupied by a little kid's track meet. We decided to do a tempo along the river instead.

So we intended to run 4 miles, but my legs were completely dead after about 1 mile. I completely botched this workout, and maybe will try it again later in the week when my legs are less tired. It's been a hard week. Plus, I spent the day before with my family members, who apparently don't need to eat as much as I do and skipped lunch.
10 x 400, goal of 95s for each. It went really well! I was sort of tired and lazy at the start (sorry for complaining, Anna!) but definitely felt more energetic at the end. I was able to slowly build up speed over the last 200m.
