Sykelocross 1/2/3 Day1 win. The course: just shy of 2mi laps w/2 runups, barriers, big log, great off camber on the back side, a million turns (+1 for me), and a root cellar tunnel. I established the lead in the first lap and never looked back. Jen gave chase stayed more or less 30sec behind me for the race. After slipping backwards on the Belgian wall on lap2, I chose to run the entirety of both runups, and that seemed to be most efficient for me. Who knows? Would be nice to try all options for time on obstacles like that. Good first CX event for me, with some UCI riders in the mix. Bike has some issues that will need to be worked out eventually. Feel so solid on the bike.
