Motivation was low here, but we got it done. Not sure when the rain started, but we weren't dry for the rest of the night. Again, most of the CPs were 200-300m apart. We grabbed everything on the way out then ran the road back for a straighter shot.

Bike 1:13:00 [3] 8.6 mi (7.1 mph)

To the finish. Definitely came up short of our expectations, but while there were only a few coed teams here, they were some all-star teams to be sure. With very little strategy or nav and lots of running, the course didn't suit us, but that's adventure racing. This course was night and day from USARA. I guess that's why I fell in love with the east coast when I moved here :) I will say the Big Grove Brewery venue was second to none for a pre and post race hang. Great food and beers and even better people to catch up with! And as always, I wouldn't trade my boys Jeff and Dave for anything.
