Skyrun. Route change due to service delivery protests in Lady Grey. Start from Wartail to the wall then back along the route to spring near snowden and then back to the finish as per normal, adding some more climbing. With hiking mileage in my legs, i felt strong walking, but when i pushed harder, especially in the second half of the race my cardio fitness felt lacking, also didn't eat enough and that knocked me badly, so slow second half. But was a great race as much of the way I was with friends that I knew well and I had a good time out there suffering together. Going over the wall twice was pretty intense!

109/231 starters did not finish, and that does not include the guys who got drips along the way to help them pass their medicals (not sure where the rules are on this one, but if you lost >10% body weight you got a drip, and their scales were badly out, so some people got drips and they didn't really need them).

CR with Murray, tried to climb all the 6A/6A+ boulder routes, got through 8 until I was stopped by a tricky one that we couldn't figure out the beta for. Then (17L),(20x). Was getting most of the moves on the 20 but arms not strong enough to get to the top right now.
